How do Pro, Scholar and Mastery differ?+
Only by how much you get, never by how good it is — every plan, including Free, runs the same AI on the same settings. Pro ($18.99) is 600 tutor messages a week with 7 test papers a week. Scholar ($34.99) raises that to 1,000 messages and 14 test papers — the all-rounder for serious terms and exam season. Mastery ($74.99) is the highest: 1,400 messages a week, 28 test papers, and 30-file uploads — built for homeschool and all-day study. All paid plans get unlimited study units.
How do the message limits work?+
You get one pot of tutor messages a week, and it refills every Monday. Free is 60 a week. Pro is 600, Scholar 1,000, Mastery 1,400. There's also a daily cap so a single day can't drain the whole week — 60 on Free, 150 on Pro, 200 on Scholar, 300 on Mastery — and that one resets at midnight UTC. No premium tier of message, no rationing a better model: every message on every plan is the same Root.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing portal in Settings. Plan changes take effect immediately and are pro-rated.
Is my data safe?+
Your work stays private to your account. You can download all of your data as JSON from Settings at any time, or delete your account completely.
